Former law enforcement officer Roman Khabarov, who has recently been engaged in human rights activities in Voronezh, has been released from house arrest. A written undertaking not to leave the place was taken from him, reports the Internet edition "MOYO!". Khabarov is the defendant in the case of underground casinos: according to the investigation, he helped the organizers of gambling fight off the claims of law enforcement officers. The pressure on Khabarov began in 2011, after he failed to recertify as a police officer and, in an interview with various media, spoke about violations in the police.
