Donetsk: Passengers of the trolleybus died at mortar shelling

In Donetsk, when a mortar shell enters the trolley, more than ten people were killed, many were injured. The passers -by were killed or wounded, which were found in the scene. Near the trolebus there are several cars damaged by fragments. On the video frames taken by eyewitnesses, you can distinguish damage caused by a brick housing home opposite the stop.

Ukrainian sources report that there were several volleys, and their consequences indicate the possible use of the Vasilek automatic mortar.

According to preliminary information, shelling was fired from the so -called “nomadic mortar” installed on the automobile platform. According to the Ukrainian media, separatists use this method of firing using the tactics of quick change of fire positions when moving between residential buildings.
