
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said on January 22 that pro -Russian militants paid a “high price” for attacks on Ukrainian government troops in the east of the country, in areas of controlled by separatists.
Poroshenko made a statement at a meeting with the security forces, following which a plan of further steps will be approved. The meeting was convened on January 22 after the decision of Kyiv to stop the many months of defense of the Donetsk airport.
Poroshenko said that he also suggested award to award the paratroopers of the "cyborgs", who heroically held the defense of the Donetsk airport. According to the press service of the President of Ukraine, then they said:
“We also coordinated actions, pulled up reserves and if the enemy does not want to keep the ceasefire, if he does not want to stop the suffering of civilians, Ukrainian villages and cities, we will give on the teeth,” said Petro Poroshenko.
Meanwhile, the pro -Russian rebels on January 22 spent on the streets of Donetsk Ukrainian soldiers past the bus stop, where at least seven civilians died as a result of the explosion.
