VostokService structure Ruslan Baysarov's has increased its stake in Stroygazconsulting (SGK) to a blocking stake, increasing it from 14.5% to 25.69%, Interfax reported on Friday .

Billionaire Ziyad Manasir's share in STG decreased from 57.4% to 48.42%. The remaining shares belong to Alexey Likhachev (14.36%), Mikhail Yakibchuk (7.93%) and Roza Prilepa (3.6%).

In December 2013, Baysarov’s structures bought 30% of Stroygazconsulting from Manasir. In June 2014, the Vedomosti newspaper reported that Manasir sold his stake in STG to Baysarov’s structures.

Currently, Baysarov is the chairman of the board of directors of SGC.

STG is Gazprom's oldest and largest contractor. During the four years of Dmitry Medvedev's presidency, Stroygazconsulting, according to Forbes calculations, won contracts from state-owned companies for almost 730 billion rubles. 2012 brought the company orders for another 80 billion rubles. But then the system, which had been worked out for years, failed. And Gazprom’s contracts began to melt away. In 2013, according to Forbes estimates, Manasir managed to win only 35 billion rubles - this is almost half as much as the year before.

The group's competition for Gazprom contracts includes Stroygazmontazh, owned by brothers Arkady and Boris Rotenberg, and Stroytransgaz, owned by Gennady Timchenko . At the end of October 2013, Manasir even wrote a letter to the executive secretary of the presidential commission on the fuel and energy sector, President of Rosneft Igor Sechin, complaining that Gazprom was delaying the commissioning of projects and payment for them. Manasir himself stated that the problems were of a “normal working nature” and had already been resolved.
