
The lawyer of the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko Mark Feigin wrote an open letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin with an appeal to release the political prisoner, "acting by law." The text of the letter is published on the Facebook lawyer page.
According to Feigin, to contact the president, he is forced by the dangerous state of health of Savchenko. The term of her hunger strike is approaching 45 days. During the last meeting with a lawyer, the political prisoner announced the desire to die.
Feigin emphasizes that the defense provided evidence of Savchenko’s non -involvement in the deaths of employees of the VGTRK. According to her phone billing and eyewitnesses, by this moment the Ukrainian pilot was captured by the separatists for at least an hour. However, Russian courts ignore these evidence.
Savchenko caused a great international resonance, Feigin notes . Its persecution is perceived in the world as "the punishment of Ukraine." Nevertheless, the Russian side does not intend to make concessions and release the innocent, the lawyer emphasizes.
“The business is public, I would even say publicly public, and therefore there is no longer a secret way to“ solve ”,” Feigin writes. He calls on Putin to act according to the law and release Savchenko.

Earlier, Brasser had already addressed Naryshkin with a call to contribute to the "speedy liberation" of Savchenko. In her opinion, the situation around the prisoner "will continue to poison relations between the Russian Federation and Ukraine."
On December 13, Savchenko announced a hunger strike in connection with the non -recognition of his prisoner of war. At the same time, they say that she has no health problems. It is regularly examined by the doctor. Savchenko’s blood levels are supported by regular glucose injections.

Until September 24, Savchenko, who was already under arrest, became a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, was kept in the Voronezh pre-trial detention center, and then was transferred to Moscow for a forensic psychological and psychiatric examination, where it was recognized as sane.
