
The German car manufacturer BMW raises prices for the entire lineup in the Russian Federation from 2 to 6.5 percent, TASS reports with reference to the company's press service.
Over the past few months, the BMW concern has already announced their prices for their cars three times.
As previously reported, BMW sales in the Russian Federation in 2014 decreased by 16 percent to 69.4 thousand cars.
BMW cars are produced at the Avtotor Kaliningrad plant (models BMW 3, 5 and 7 of the series, BMW X1, X3, X5, X6).
Earlier it was reported that Avtotor intends to create a large -scale autoclaster in the Kaliningrad region along with Vnesheconombank.
The project involves financing the construction of engineering and social infrastructure facilities at the expense of private or borrowed funds, and the investor’s costs will come from the budget at the expense of tax revenues. After the construction and commissioning is completed, all objects built in this way are transferred to state and municipal property.
The project of creating a car cluster in the Kaliningrad region provides for the construction of five full -cycle automobile plants until 2020, up to 16 plants for the production of automobile components, transport and logistics infrastructure, housing and life -enunching sectors, including seaport and energy facilities.
The volume of investments in the project is estimated at the level of 98 billion rubles.
