A new case has been opened against Nadezhda Savchenko - about illegal border crossing

A new case has been opened against Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko - about illegal border crossing, Interfax reports. Earlier, a case was initiated against Savchenko for complicity in the murder of Russian journalists. On January 28, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe demanded that Russia release Savchenko within 24 hours.

Savchenko's lawyers report that the case was initiated on January 15. She is currently being sent to the Matrosskaya Tishina SIZO hospital. Recently, Savchenko has been on a hunger strike.
