Russia will not accept any missions of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. This was stated by State Duma chairman Sergey Naryshkin on the air of the Russia 24 television channel. He explained this by the fact that by the end of the year Moscow stopped cooperation with Pase, after the Russian delegation was limited in rights.

"This (accept the missions PACE. - Ed.) It is impossible. Because we have suspended our work in the assembly for a year," the speaker said.

According to Naryshkin, the Russian delegation has implemented a pre -planned plan. If so far partial cooperation with PACE has been preserved, now it is completely discontinued. The speaker did not exclude that at the end of the year the question of Russia's membership in the Council of Europe would be raised.

Naryshkin noted that individual deputies who are part of PACA can come to Russia - but only as deputies of their national parliaments or in another quality, "but not as representatives of PACE."

Earlier, PACE announced their intention to send three missions to Russia - to study situations in the Crimea, with the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko and with Ukrainian refugees contained in the Russian pre -trial detention center.
