Moscow authorities accused the stalls of creating traffic jams

A fifth of Moscow stalls create road congestion. This was in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda by the head of the capital's department of trade and services Alexei Nemeryuk.

The official, referring to the data of the Department of Transport, said that "about two thousand kiosks" create traffic jams on Moscow roads, "especially near public transport and metro stops." The head of the Department of Trade and Services did not answer the question about the reasons for the replacement of all Moscow kiosks in 2015, despite the fact that in 2012 the authorities obliged all the owners of the stalls to change the pavilions at their own expense.

“Three years ago we held auctions, changed the appearance of the kiosks and placed them where they were really necessary. Not a single then and currently valid agreement will be interrupted a previously the deadline, ”Nemeryuk said, adding that the complete replacement of retail facilities will end in 2016.

Earlier it became known that the owners of the Kiosks turned to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to prevent the compliance of all trading facilities in Moscow.
