The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine had to re-register Aidar due to the press

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine does not intend to eliminate the Aidar battalion, the military unit will be re-registered due to the fact that the seal and documents of the battalion are lost. This was reported to the Interfax-Ukraine agency by the representative of the military department Victoria Kushnir.

“The seal and documents of the unit was lost. Now there is a re -registration of the new number of the military unit to prevent abuses. These changes will not affect the personnel. On the contrary, the personnel will be additionally equipped and strengthened to perform particularly important tasks, ”she said.

The chief foreman of the military unit 2950 Valentin Lykholit, nicknamed “Dad” in a conversation with “Ukrainian truth, emphasized that people who conduct military operations in the Donbass as part of the battalion will not affect re -registration.

“We are simple, because Melnichuk [Aydar commander] did not give me the press, changed the type of print. We used to be called HF 0624, and now we are part 2950. We gave Melnichuk these seals, ”he added.

A mass rally is held near the building of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, which began after the commander of the unit Melnichuk announced the disbandment of the battalion. According to the speaker of the Ministry of Defense Kushnir, the protesters explained that in reality the battalion would continue to exist “unfortunately, they don’t listen,” she said.
