The creator of "Program A" Sergei Antipov died

On Sunday, February 1, at the age of 55, a television journalist Sergey Antipov died in Moscow, who created and led “program A” for 10 years-one of the first programs about rock music on Russian television.

Sergey Aryevich Antipov was born in 1959 in Moscow, graduated from the Moscow Electrotechnical Institute of Communications (Meis), played in the theater studio in his student years. At the end of the institute, he worked at the Radio Research Institute, led the children's amateur theater.

In 1983, he became a freelance employee of the Main Edition of the Musical Programs of Central Television, in 1986 he was enrolled in the state as an assistant director and editor. He worked on the set of programs “Morning Mail”, on festive music programs “Spark”, on the set of song contests in Jurmala. In 1989 he graduated from the highest directorial courses.

Sergei Antipov was the director of concert broadcasts, organized and conducted direct broadcasts of ceremonies of the TEFI, Nika, Festivals, Kinotavr, Slavic Bazaar, Eurovision Songs and other festivals, socio-political telemarathons and international television devices.

In 1989, Sergei Antipov created the “program A”. It came out from 1989 to 2000 first on the first CT program, then on the RTR channels and the center. The transmission reached its popularity in the mid-1990s.

The program specialized in unusual and promising musical phenomena, alternative and non -profit music, Russian rock. To concerts on the air, the editorial office of the program invited only those groups that were interesting to her, and categorically refused to take money from musicians. In "Program A" only premieres of video clips and only satisfying the editorial office in quality were shown.
