Moscow will show "Fear and disgust 2015"

On Friday, February 6, in the Moscow Cafe “March”, students of the workshop of Dmitry Brusnikin will present the project “Fear and disgust 2015”.

Hunter Thompson’s novel “fear and disgust in Las Vegas” is one of the most poetic civilian manifestos, this is an analysis of the generation of the author and American society of the late 60s-early 70s of the last century, which was under the stage of “Dream Territory” to the police state, the authors of the project write.

The production of “Fear and disgust 2015” is not another retelling of history. About twelve-year-old actors who grow up in Russia the end of the zero-the beginning of the tenth of the 21st century, “apply” this text to themselves, their generation and to today's situation in our society. By the genre, this is a club concert storotelling dedicated to the novel.

Actors play the music mentioned in the novel and generally related to that era, becoming between the tracks of the heroes of the book - reporter Raul Duke and lawyer Dr. Gonzo - by themselves - students of the theater university in Moscow. Speaking of spectators - at the tables, during the action, drinking the corresponding context of the drinks is provided.
