Anti -fascists against the Jews

The final of the press conference of unrecognized DPR -LNR, Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitsky, which was held on February 2, turned out to be - primarily for the Western media - truly sensational. Both prominent figures of the "anti -fascist movement" coherently discussed the topic of the management of Ukraine "Jews", characterizing them with the word "miserable". It would be difficult for provincial politicians to find more suitable words to get to the first lanes of leading international publications - most likely for the first and last time. To publicly declare your anti -Semitism (especially in frankly Nazi style) is still the best way to lose even respectability, but the slightest respect for your position from the world community.

Meanwhile, these replicas did not arouse any interest among the supporters of Novorossia and preachers of the struggle against the “Kyiv fascists”. The matter is familiar. A month earlier, the commander of the “first regiment of the Cossack National Guard”, one of the leaders of Russian militants, Pavel Dremov, in a video message, called the same Plotnitsky “damned Jew”. And nothing - now commands the struggle with the "fascists" near Debaltseve. And what can we say about personnel ideological neo -Nazis, from which entire units of the "anti -fascists" are formed - such as, for example, the Batman GBR and the Rusich and Ratibors detachments that do not hide the neo -Nazi symbols and fighting the "dill -Khazars".

We will try to understand how anti -Semitism and racism (expressed, in particular, in how “Novorossiysk” propaganda describes Barack Obama and other African Americans) is combined with declarative anti -fascism. After all, the side with the neo-Nazis from the Batman against the Ukrainian army is fighting the “communist detachment” of the “Mechanized Brigade” Ghost, which consisting of Borotb, National Bolsheviks and Kurginyanov fights.

From the point of view of an ordinary European and American, anti -Semitism and fascism are synonymous, and an anti -Semitic anti -fascist is an oxymoron. However, the political practice of recent decades speaks of something else. For many right and left radicals, there is a whole set of similar objects of hatred, and Jews are included in this set. In this regard, some communist party of Germany, spreading anti-Semitic brochures, bashfully called "anti-Israeli", gives a typical example.

The point here is the general ideological roots of the right and left radicals. All of them from European revolutionary movements of the beginning of the twentieth century. The hope that a young man with a minimum of education, but with weapons in his hands will quickly gain the right to become a boss and redo the world in fairness, the cult of the leader and the party, the willingness to put his life for the benefit of ideas and kill anyone who will oppose it, the belief in the omnipotence of the state and that it will be able to bind to any member of the new society, the aggressive desire to expand the territorial revolution - All this is characteristic of Nazism, and communism, and modern Islamism (Palestinian, Iranian, Igilovsky). Initially, there are differences between the revolutions in the set of enemies and in the depth of the penetration of the new state into the economy, but over time, the difference between them is leveled. Nazi Germany, first pushed to protect the interests of the German people, began to build a "pan -European house" from it, which was very reminiscent of the communist Warsaw Treaty. And Comrade Stalin in the declining years reflected on the organization by the forces of the "conscious workers" of Jewish pogroms and put Jewish public figures to the wall.

In this regard, the dreams of the creators are still an illusory New Russia fits into the typical concept of the "national revolution." One of the initiators of the separatist movement in eastern Ukraine, in the past few months, the former leader of the Kharkov police and criminal group Oplot Evgeny Zhilin on the same day, February 2, made a remarkable statement in the blogosphere. Running the Ukrainian authorities that they do not properly celebrate the anniversary of the liberation of the cities of the country from the Nazi invaders, and boasting their role as the main organizer of the supply of pro-Russian militants in the Donbass in the Donbass in the spring and summer of last year, he stated that the main goal of the “Novorossiysk Project“ was the construction of the “Russian social state” initiated by him. In such a state, the best ideas of the "Maidan" about fair life for ordinary people without working at oligarchs should have been realized.

In such views, Zhilin is far from lonely. In the same style, the current leader of the DPR Alexander Zakharchenko, who was previously the head of the Donetsk organization Oplot (now they quarreled). The motives of social justice sound in such people who seem to be opposite in basic political attitudes as Pavel Gubarev, one of the first developers of the Novorossiya project, the People’s Governor of the Donetsk Region in March 2014, both a member of the neo -Nazi RNU, and Alexei Mozgova, is the leader of the ghost of the Lugansk Brigade.

However, none of these people knows what way to realize this “social justice” - and, as it should be real revolutionaries, does not really even think. All the actions of the supporters of Novorossia after the seizure of power in the region regarding the management of the economy and the social sphere, they had the character of the impromptu. And therefore, the results are very similar to the fruits of the Bolsheviks in 1918. Political opponents in the controlled territory are immediately and unconditionally defeated, everything valuable that fell by the arm, plundered, experts escaped or sabotage, the population sits without salaries and pensions, without normal medical care, in places is hungry and experiences interruptions with electricity and heating.

But what was established in the "People’s Republics" immediately and on full scale - this is the activity of punitive bodies and repression against any real or potential political opponents. From the first days, a systematic terror began against all possible supporters of independent Ukraine, combining the methods of Stalin State Security and the police-criminal "lawlessness" of the 1990s and 2000s. About how this was done by the militants of the same Dremov in the "Chemical Triangle" (Lisichansk, Severodonetsk, Rubezhnoye) of the Luhansk region, you can learn from the recently published report of Ukrainian human rights defenders.

But all this does not at all prevent revolutionaries from fighting for the expansion of the boundaries of their "state". Moreover, the moment favors. Russia still has a lot of old combat equipment and ammunition - and even more unnecessary, especially during the crisis, veterans of local wars. And therefore, there is a hope for the implementation of the most crazy plans for the territorial expansion of the "residents of Donbass."

The battles of the last month around the perimeter of the DPR-LNR are often considered from the point of view of the "vital interests" of separatist formations. Like, the Debaltsevsky protrusion interfered with the message between Donetsk and Lugansk and posed a threat to Gorlovka’s environment, the positions of the Ukrainian army at the Donetsk airport were too convenient for assaulting the city, and indeed the intractable Ukrainian army should be moved away from large cities so that it did not have the opportunity to fire at. This position is generally supported by many viewers of Russian television and active users of social networks.

However, propagandists and officials of the DPR -LNR openly declare that the current expansion of the "people's republics" is far from the limit. They want at least all the cities where the separatists have ever seized power be returned to them. And this is more than half of the Donetsk region - Mariupol, Kramatorsk, Slavyansk - as well as the "chemical triangle" of the Luhansk region. However, some statements say about the transfer of the “republics” of the entire territory of both regions.

But these requirements are only the beginning. The ideologists of the Novorossiya project do not hide their goals. Igor Girkin, known under the pseudonym Strelkov, was recently admitted to regional television as the head of the Novorossiya Public Movement. He once again stated that if Russian assistance to Slavyansk came to Donetsk now, now fights would go at least on the Dnieper. And his followers are much more radical. Tanks going to the battle of Uglegorsky. Zhilin and Girkin - firmly declare the intention to overthrow the government in Kyiv.

The neo -fascist dictatorship sponsored by the Russian state, hoping to take control of the entire territory of Ukraine up to the borders of the European Union, is the creation of the Novorossia project. In this capacity, he so far (and fortunately) cannot compete with ISIS and Boko Haram in fierce terror and ideological attractiveness for young radicals from all over the world, but already has a chance to replace Hamas in the list of organizations officially recognized as terrorist world community (and not just Ukrainian authorities).

So, regardless of the result of the current stage of military operations, a military confrontation between the Ukrainian army and pro -Russian militants (which are increasingly called the Russian Irregular Army) will continue. On the agenda, it is by no means the fate of the "people's republics", which achieved "independence" with the help of Russia. We are talking about the prospects for the survival of Ukraine as an independent state and the fate of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian citizens with an active civil and political position, which will inevitably become victims of terror if the "Russian social state" will manage to reach them.
