Moscow and St. Petersburg were included in the top 10 rating of cities in the world with the most loaded roads prepared by Castrol together with the manufacturer of TomTom navigators. Moreover, the northern capital was ahead of the pioneer to one step, settled in fifth place, reports Carscope .

Analysts calculated the so -called STOP -START index - the average number of stops and subsequent starts made on a 1 km long track, multiplied by a distance that the average driver of this country passes throughout the year. The study covers 78 cities in various regions of the world and is based on data obtained from millions of TomTom navigators.
