Ex-Getman of Kommersant will become a co-owner of Vedomosti

Former Director General of Kommersant Publishing House Demyan Kudryavtsev can become a co -owner of Vedomosti. According to the publication itself, one of its shareholders, the Finnish media company Sanoma considers the application for the ransom of the Vedomosti share belonging to it, received from the company representing the interests of Demyan Kudryavtsev, Vladimir Voronov and American Marty Pompadur.

One of Vedomosti's interlocutors clarified that for a third of the publication the buyer is ready to pay 6 million euros.

Three acquaintances Kudryavtsev confirmed that he, along with his partners, applied for the purchase of Vedomosti at Citibank. The buyer, if the transaction takes place, will become a company in which all three partners have an equal part.

"Vedomosti" has been published since 1999 by the company "Business News Media", which through the Cyprus offshore in equal shares possess Dow Jones & Co, FT Group and Sanoma. Vedomosti revenue for 2013 amounted to 1.1 billion rubles.

Kudryavtsev is a former journalist. In 2006, Boris Berezovsky, then the owner of the Kommersant Publishing House, appointed him the general director of the publishing house, where Kudryavtsev worked until 2012, after which he founded the Communication Communication Agency.
