February 4, Wednesday restriction on freedom on the Russian Internet in 2014 increased 1.5 times. Last year, the “Internet Association” recorded 2951 incident, according to the organization’s report. The number of cases of administrative pressure increased almost three times: from 514 to 1448. At the same time, the number of criminal persecutions for the Internet activity fell from 226 in 2013 to 132 last year.

The prosecutor's office of Chechnya did not find a call for violence in the words of Ramzan Kadyrov about the demolition of the houses of relatives of terrorists. Responding to the request of the human rights organization “Committee against torture”, the Chechen prosecutor’s office said that in the words of the head of the republic “an opinion is expressed about the negative consequences that may come against relatives of persons participating in illegal armed groups.”

On all three, criminal cases were made under the new article 212.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for "repeated violation of the established procedure for meetings." All of them are facing a fine of up to 1 million rubles. Or imprisonment up to 5 years. The organization’s statement says that when considering cases, numerous violations and falsifications were made. According to the Memorial, the criminal prosecution of Halperin, Dadina and Ionov should be “immediately and unconditionally” discontinued.

On February 6, Friday, a search was held at the head of the Foundation for Corruption of Roman Rubanov in the case of the theft of a picture of a provincial artist "Bad and Good Man". Investigative events also took place in the apartment of Rubanov’s parents. Navalny himself said that the search is associated with the activities of the FBC, as well as the preparation of the anti -crisis march, which will be held on March 1.
