Eskender Kantemirov, who was detained on suspicion of participating in clashes in Simferopol on February 26, 2014, was placed under arrest for two months. According to the online edition "Events of Crimea", Kantemirov is charged with participation in mass riots. Earlier, one of the leaders of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Ahtem Chiygoz, who was detained in the same case, was placed under arrest.
