The Moscow City Court confirmed the arrest of Oleg Sentsov

Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov, by decision of the Moscow City Court, will remain in custody until April 11 on charges of plotting terrorist attacks in Crimea. This was reported on February 9 by the correspondent Kasparov. Ru from the courtroom.

The court rejected the defense's complaint about the arrest, thereby confirming the decision of the Lefortovsky Court of Moscow. Upon a written request, Sentsov asked to consider the appeal without his participation. The director's lawyer, Vadim Samokhin, asked that Sentsov be released, as there were no grounds for keeping the accused in custody. According to him, Sentsov was initially given a measure of restraint with violations. The state defender Sentsova did not have a lawyer status and did not file an appeal against the arrest in time, Samokhin explained.
