Pskov was left without Leviathan

Leviathan Andrei Zvyagintsev will not be shown in the cinemas of Pskov-the distributor refused to provide a copy of the film "Due to the lack of commercial benefits."

This was told by TASS manager of the only rental company in the Pskov region Yuri Mikheev.

According to him, the distributors established a minimum show of the picture twice a day, but suggested that there would be no demand for tickets. “We were ready to show this film in two Pskov cinemas, but we were also notified that little copies were made, and there wasn’t enough for Pskov,” the manager said.

Mikheev added that on February 10, the sale of tickets for the film “50 shades of gray” begins, which will be shown in Pskov cinemas five times a day.

The Committee on Culture of the Pskov Region reported that the screening of films in the region is carried out by a private company, which owns two cinemas in Pskov. “We do not control their repertoire,” the committee explained.

In total, four cinemas work in the region: two in Pskov, one more in the cities of Nevel and Great Lukes.
