
On Tuesday, February 10, at a press conference in Moscow, a new season of the Polit-Lesvet journalistic award was announced. This year the main nominations, the mechanism of work and the formation of the jury, the charter and composition of the Council of the Prize will change.
Instead of the former “person” and “Grat”, new nominations have been established - “Analytics” and “Journalism”, each of which will have its own jury of three, according to the Prize website .
The best analyst will be elected the president of the Liberal Mission Foundation Evgeny Yasin, analyst Dmitry Oreshkin, physicist, analyst, laureate of the Political Svetvet-2012 Award Sergey Spilkin.
The jury of the nomination "Journalism" included a professor at the Faculty of Communications, Media and the design of the Higher School of Economics Anna Kachkaeva, journalist Tatyana Malkina and founder of the Rain television channel Natalya Sindeeva.
“The first [nomination] examines journalistic articles created by authors-researchers in the field of politics, economics and social life. The second nomination examines the materials of the writers-publicists, whose judgments became events. ” - explained the chairman of the jury of both nominations Alexander Arkhangelsky.
Acceptance of applications for participation in the prize from the media editorial offices takes place at premiapolitprosvet@gmail.com until March 12. The analytical and journalistic materials published in printed, radio, TV and online media are taken for consideration from March 31, 2014 to March 12, 2015.
Lingers of ten authors in each nomination will be announced on March 26, a short list of three authors-no later than April 25, laureate-May 27. The monetary prize of each finalist of the award will amount to 50 thousand rubles, the laureate monetary prize - 250 thousand rubles.
