The head of the Russian Pentecostals wants to replace Halloween along with Muslims in the day of memory of the Reformation

The commanding bishop of the Russian United Union of Christians of the Vera of the Gospel (Roskhwe - Pentecostals), a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryakhovsky proposed to establish the day of memory of the Reformation in Russia.

With the initiative to celebrate this date on October 31, he spoke at a meeting with the deputy chairman of the spiritual department of the Muslims of the European part of Russia Damir Mukhetdinov. Sergei Ryakhovsky recalled that in 2017 the 500th anniversary of the reform of Catholic Christianity will be celebrated, "and expressed the hope that this may put an end to the policy of imposing alien to Russians - Halloween celebration."
