Steve Strangja was born in Wales in 1959. In the late 1970s, he collaborated with Malcolm McLaren, played in the punk groups of The Moors Murderers and The Photons . In 1978, along with growing with Egan and Midge Ur, he founded the Visage group.
In 1980, Visage released the single “Fade to Grey” , which took 8th place in the top 10 of Great Britain and reached the upper lines of European charts. By the time the collapse in 1985, the group recorded three studio albums and was considered one of the leaders of the movement of new romantics.
In 2008, Strangje starred in an episodic role in the British television series “ Asses to ashes), performing the song “ Fade to Grey ” in the Blitz London club, which he once owned.
