Bonobo - a rare breed of African monkeys - live in the jungle of Zair. Close relatives of chimpanzees, they look much more elegant: the legs are long, the forehead is tall, the ears are small, the lips are red. This is what the largest specialist in primates writes about them, the author of the first monograph on Bonobo Franz de Waal: “Compared to the bonobo chimpanze, that the“ Concord ”is next to the Boeing. The Latin name of these monkeys is Pan Paniscus, but scientists call them a funny word “bonobo”, forming a verb from it that does not have censorship synonyms. Bonobo is the only animals in the world who can make love in the "missionary" position. It was always believed that this posting pose allowing to look into the eyes is the privilege of people, and some, like missionaries. Having refuted this theory, Bonobo attracted attention, but did not stop there. In the animal world, Bonobo’s sexual repertoire does not know equal. In addition to copulations in all conceivable poses, monkeys practice oral sex, group, lesbian, homosexual, bisexual and solo. In addition, they know how to kiss, like the French in the view of high school students. In the flocks of Bonobo, an uncompromising promiscuit reigns.

The Bonobo community, as a hippie commune, combines sexual bonds, which turned out to be stronger and more reliable than power and money. Free in love, like Pushkin gypsies, Bonobo abolished the right of ownership to each other. In essence, they live in the utopia that Plato with Alexandra Kollontai dreamed of.

Bonobo, with whom we divide 98 percent of genes, have already appeared followers-bonobists who call themselves Polyamory Society. Disappointed in all other projects of the transformation of the world, its members believe that only by imitating voluptuous monkeys, a person is able to escape from humanity.

It is unlikely that one of this will turn out, but it cannot be denied that Bonobo avoids all three conflicts that people consider inevitable: wars between floors, generations and flocks. Bonobo managed to create an egalitarian society in which there is no inequality between weak and strong, between females and males. Replacing the struggle of sex, they were able to extinguish aggressive impulses.
