The silence regime in eastern Ukraine until noon of Sunday was not observed immediately in three directions. According to Interfax, this was stated by the head of the OSCE special monitoring mission in Kyiv Ertugul Apakan. According to him, a ceasefire occurred in Debaltsev, Raigorod and Lugansk.
Apakan added that SMM also knows about numerous unconfirmed facts of violation of the ceasefire announced at midnight, however, only those 20 patrols that were directed through the collision immediately after the announcement of the ceasefire regime.
As for Mariupol, the OSCE of clashes in this direction did not observe. In the Donetsk direction, the situation was also calm, Apakan noted.
The head of the SMM confirmed that the militants of the Donetsk "People’s Republic" banned the observers of the OSCE mission to enter the Debaltsevo.
The head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko on Saturday, actually refused to comply with key points of agreements concluded last week in Minsk. He emphasized that the separatists do not intend to observe a truce in the territory controlled by the DPR. He, as usual, called the Ukrainian security forces "invaders" and "punishers" and promised to block any attempts to withdraw the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Debaltsevo boiler. The militants of the DPR also do not intend to release the Ukrainian military from Debaltsev. Zakharchenko also promised to open fire in the event of the appearance of the Ukrainian military on the "territory of the DPR".
On Sunday night, at the General Staff of Ukraine, six violations of the ceasefire announced at midnight were counted from the militants. This was announced on his Facebook page by the representative of the military department Vladislav Seleznev. According to him, the fire was “not systematic and local”, there are no losses among the Ukrainian security forces.
