Kubana will move to the Baltic Sea

The Kubana International Musical Festival, which used to be held in the Krasnodar Territory, will be held in the Kalinigrad region in 2015.

According to Gazeta.ru with reference to the organizers , the festival at the initiative of the regional government will be held from August 6 to 9 in the village of Yantarny on the coast of the Baltic Sea.

According to the producer of the festival Ilya Ostrovsky, Kubana will preserve the format. “We could not leave, we moved, moved, changed the place of residence - call whatever you want. Kubana turned out to be much more than just a festival for both us and numerous fans of live music. I begin a completely new story, almost from scratch! Nevertheless, it will be the same Kubana , so loved by everyone over the years, ”says Ostrovsky.

Since 2009, the festival was held on the Black Sea. Before the start of Kubana-2014, it was announced that the festival would be held for the last time, but later the organizers changed their decision.

The first participants of Kubana-2015 are already known. They will be the groups "Bravo", "Leningrad" and Trubetskoy .
