On March 27 and 28, we invite representatives of the public sector, city activists, developers, bloggers, designers, and all those who are not indifferent to the improvement of the urban space of Nizhny Novgorod to participate in the Khakaton of NN TomorrOW.
The event will be opened by urbanist Holy Murunov, head of the Center for Applied Urbanism . On Hakaton, you can find like -minded people to implement your idea, work it and submit it to the court of a competent jury. The best team will receive 60,000 rubles to finalize their project.
The format of the event
On March 27, the participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves deeply in the topic and find out the latest trends in the improvement of urban spaces from Russian urbanists, take part in the current show “Space for Life” with the participation of the Nizhny Novgorod and federal experts in the field of IT projects, architecture, the development of the city, and social projects. Also, everyone will have the opportunity to take part in a brainstorming assault on the development of the city and master classes on the topimization of urban space, open mapping, promotion on social networks and ecology. Activists of city communities and non -profit organizations will present their successful cases of projects and events that were aimed at improving the quality of life in our city. If you have not yet decided on the topic of your project, on the first day you will have the opportunity to join any team or find like-minded people and create your own. On March 28, teams under the leadership of mentors will develop project prototypes that will help increase the comfort of life in Nizhny Novgorod, after which they will present the results of the jury, which will determine the finalists. The winning team will receive 60,000 rubles to finalize the idea and bring it to life.Topics that are proposed to be affected in work on projects

Rules for participation in the competition
- To participate in the Khakaton NN Tomorrow, you need to register your project on the site until 18:00 03/25/2015 ;
- The authors represent the ideas of applications on the second day, March 28 (Saturday) , on Hakaton twice - at 10:30 (presentation no more than 2 minutes) and at 19:00 at the final presentation (no more than 7 minutes important to show what was done at the event);
- Projects recorded for hackathon must meet the following criteria:
- have a clear public or civilian mission;
- not to be created to promote any political party;
- In case of inconsistency of these criteria, the project is not registered (not posted on the site) and is not allowed to participate in the event;
- The authors of the applications must prepare in advance the presentations of their projects;
- Participation in Khakaton involves full employment within two days of the event. Please plan your time;
- According to the results of project presentations, an independent jury chooses the winner. Each jury has one voice. The winner is selected by a majority vote based on evaluation criteria;
- The winner concludes a contract in the amount of 60 thousand rubles with the organizer to finalize the submitted project. The terms of the contract are stipulated, but it is important to understand that the organizers expect the implementation of some part of the project for the specified amount;
- On the second day of the event, you will need laptops to work on the hackathon - do not forget to take them with you!
Criteria for evaluating projects
- Usefulness - your project should really benefit and from this to be in demand by the inhabitants of Nizhny Novgorod;
- Implementation - calculate that your project can be created by a limited number of resources: this is your team and funds for the finalization of the project in the amount of 60 thousand rubles;
- The use of new digital and social technologies (sites, social networks, crowdsourcing, crowdfunding, etc.);
- The progress reached while working on the project as part of the NN Tomorrow Hakaton.

- "Ecology as a lifestyle." Employees of the Ecocenter "Dront" will tell and show in practice what an ecological lifestyle is in a rapidly changing city! (Tatyana Pautova and Irina Kozlovsky).
