Ukraine introduced restrictions on the entry of Russians 18-60 years at separate border points. The border guards reported this to the Russian citizen Evgenia Ave, who was traveling to Kharkov through Goptovka (there is a border point there).
As Aiva told the Medusa correspondent, 80 percent of passengers, including women, were put off the bus and detained on the border for further proceedings. “They are allowed only by invitation, certified by the notary, or according to property documents - which confirms that you live in Ukraine,” she said.
To get to Ukraine, Aiva had to wait six hours on the border of his father, who came by taxi from Kharkov with her birth certificate (Aiva was born in Ukraine).
“Those who were more fortunate-those are planted after 3-4 hours of line on any bus that came across. The rest spend the night in the corridor. There, people from behind the queue lost tickets for airplanes, for trains. Someone was traveling transit through Ukraine, someone in Poltava, it was lucky for me that I was from Kharkov. People are sobbing there, there are no buses in the evening - they can’t leave, ”said Evgenia Aiva. “I asked the main shift, where to read information about the invitations that I need to do, they told me - on the Internet.”

The website of the border service of Ukraine says that in a number of cities and regions of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kharkov, Kherson regions “regime events” are introduced, but there are no direct restrictions on the country for the Russians in the message of mention.
On February 19, the Voronezh site “MY” said that at the local bus station, Russians are recommended not to buy tickets, so as not to hand them over. According to the driver working on the Voronezh -Dnepropetrovsk route, even women over 60 years old are not allowed into Ukraine. Local residents also complained to the publication of problems with the entrance to Ukraine. Belgorodians arose similar problems.
The Border Service of Ukraine publication "MY" said that for entry it is necessary to have a passport, a notarized invitation and the daily supply of money should be 784 hryvnia plus a reserve of 3920 hryvnias.
Russian woman Alexander Lozinskaya, passing border control on February 16 at Kyiv Airport, told Medusa that she was allowed without an invitation, asking only the purpose of the visit and the place of residence.
