Mikhail Nazarenko was sentenced to five days of administrative arrest under Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violation of the established procedure for holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, procession or picketing) for participating in January 24, 2015. Then local residents took to the streets and even blocked traffic on the Caucasus federal highway after the murder of a serviceman from the Edelweiss detachment, Dmitry Sidorenko, during a mass brawl in the Opera cafe on January 21.
