Kerry: Games with Russia are over

The United States is considering imposing additional sanctions against Russia. This was stated by Secretary of State John Kerry at a meeting with British Foreign Minister Philip Hammond in London, Reuters reports .

Moscow behavior undermines the implementation of agreements on the ceasefire in the east of Ukraine, Kerry noted.

The Secretary of State described the latest actions of Russia as "absolutely arrogant and cynical." According to Kerry, Washington and his allies "are not going to play games" with Moscow and behave cowardly.

The President of the European Council Donald Tusk began consultations with the leaders of the European Union on further actions regarding Russia in connection with the non -fulfillment of the Minsk agreements.

Earlier on Friday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel allowed the possibility of additional sanctions against Russia in case of further violation of the Minsk agreements. According to Merkel, the introduction of sanctions against Russia is possible if "certain clauses of the Minsk Agreement are not implemented."
