
In Kyiv, there was a thousands of dignity, dedicated to the anniversary of the victory of the revolution of dignity and the memory of heavenly hundreds. It is reported by LIGABBININFORF.
The procession began on Institutskaya Street, where on February 18-20, 2014, the most bloody clashes were underway during the Euromaidan. Further, the demonstrators walked along the Grushevsky Street and Grushevsky Street, past the buildings of the Verkhovna Rada and Cabinet, to European Square.
The first persons of the Ukrainian state participated in the march: President Petro Poroshenko, speaker of the Rada Vladimir Groysman and Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk. Together with them, the chairman of the European Council Donald Tusk, the presidents of Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Moldova, Georgia, and the premiere of Estonia and Latvia were headed.
The demonstrators launched the flags of Ukraine, the EU, Poland, Lithuania, Georgia. As Ukrainian Pravda noted , there were also many Crimean Tatar flags and banners of volunteer battalions. A huge Ukrainian flag was deployed in the center of the column.
The participants of the action chanted in different languages the slogans “Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!”, “Ukraine is Europe!”, “Ukraine, freedom, dignity, victory!” And they sang the anthem of Ukraine. The record sounded "Oda to the Joy" of Beethoven - EU Anthem.
At the end of the procession of Poroshenko and foreign leaders proceeded to Mikhailovskaya Square, where the President of Ukraine demonstrated to guests a Russian military equipment captured in the east of the country, the presence of which in the region convincingly proves the fact of the Kremlin aggression.
Meanwhile, in Kharkov, on Sunday, the march of unity was held. At this demonstration, there was a terrorist attack , as a result of which two people died and 11 more were injured, and three were difficult. The SBU has already announced the detention of the suspects. The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine noted that Russia was behind the terrorists.
