Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat helped apprehend a Palestinian terrorist who stabbed a passerby at an intersection.
Barkat said he was driving to work when his driver and security noticed something suspicious. The mayor with bodyguards got out of the car and saw a terrorist with a knife. The guard pointed a gun at the Palestinian, who threw a knife, after which the mayor helped to knock him to the ground.
The whole incident was filmed by a CCTV camera. Judging by the recording, Nir Barkat (in a white shirt) was the first to rush at the terrorist.
“Thank God it's all behind us,” Barkat said.
