With the St. Petersburg group of Cheekbones , in which the sisters Anelia and Mila play, we met during the Russia : Music : Change . Together with the Naades and Chikiss Cheekbones, they went to represent Russian indie music in Stockholm. After this trip, the English-speaking group visited Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, their last tour was British-in December 2014, the group performed in Lids and London, where a local rapper ran out in a fit of feelings on the stage and read Frestail. Now Cheekbones are busy recording the second full -length album, which will probably enter this song, full of anticipation of the new spring:
It so happened that before finding the necessary words and intonation for this song, I witnessed several bird deaths. For example, before my eyes, a young falcon crashed about the window glass of the first floor: it flew extremely consciously, incredibly quickly right out the window - and fell dead.
The idea of the clip suddenly came entirely (we still be more likely to be more than the topic of the path, yes :))-therefore I decided to direct it a la Prima herself so as not to injure this very personal vision. With the operator decision, our old friend Vasya Finogenov helped, who has already photographed many important points in the history of the group.
Recently, all our songs are ultimately about love. So this one.
