The new editor -in -chief believes that journalists are “writing shallowly” and that they need to “get to the bottom”. He also expressed dissatisfaction with reports from Donetsk, since they “do not tell about the heroes”, and materials in which “how much in vain is Putin.”

Sources of Rain explained that Sergey Sinhenko for some time was the editor -in -chief of the site “Platform Rus”, who worked at the same address as the “Russian Planet” .

He headed the “Russian planet” since the spring of 2013 and was fired by decision of the owners last December due to the conflict with the site investors who did not share the political views of the editorial office, in particular, in conflict in Ukraine. Most of the Moscow editorial office and part of the regional correspondents left the Russian Planet after the dismissal of the chief editor.

In January, it became known that Pryanikov accepted the invitation of the editor -in -chief of Lenta.ru Alexei Gororevsky to become his deputy and conduct humanitarian projects on the website.
