We talked to activists of The Other Russia at the police station

Four activists of the "Other Russia" were detained at the headquarters on Leningradsky Prospekt. As reported on the page of the unregistered party on the VKontakte social network, two people in civilian clothes, who introduced themselves as operatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, detained the Other Russia activist Vladimir Makarenko, who was leaving the headquarters, and demanded to let them in. When Makarenko refused, one of the unknowns dialed the headquarters code on the intercom and introduced himself as one of the activists, according to the page of The Other Russia. They entered and began to check the documents and the lease agreement with the activists who were at the headquarters. Then four activists who were at the headquarters were detained and taken to the Voikovsky police station. Their fingerprints were taken and explanations about their activities were taken, after which they were released. In the "Other Russia" they indicate that at the headquarters they are collecting aid for the so-called Novorossia. On the page of the unregistered party, it is also reported that since autumn, district councils in Moscow began to refuse activists in coordinating pickets to collect aid. The activists claim that their family lists were sent to councils and now they are unofficially forbidden to organize pickets. Those who go out to collect aid in single pickets, as stated on the page of the Other Russia, are detained, sometimes even several times a week.
