Investigators consider all versions of the crime, including the custom nature of the murder, the UK reported.

Yashin tied the murder of a politician with his political activity. He told reporters that the deceased politician was preparing a report on the involvement of the Russian military in the conflict in Ukraine “Putin. Vova”. “I have no doubt that it was a murder for political reasons,” Yashin told reporters.

On January 27, Boris Nemtsov sent a request in the name of the Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika with a request to verify information about the participation of military personnel of the RF Armed Forces in a conflict in Ukraine, published in various media. And therefore I would probably be inclined to completely reject this point of view, ”Peskov said.

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev also expressed his relatives and friends with condolences. On Twitter for the murder, the governor of the Kirov region Nikita Belykh reacted. "Nightmare.
