20 years ago, on March 1, 1995, in Moscow, in the entrance of his own house on Novokuznetskaya Street, the popular TV presenter Vladislav Listyev was killed. Valuables and a large amount of cash that he had remained intact, which indicated the contract nature of the murder.
Listyev served as the general director of the ORT television channel. The investigation believed that someone was dissatisfied with Listyev's intention to revise the television company's advertising contracts. Neither the perpetrators nor the customers of the crime were ever found. Among those who were suspected of organizing the murder were oligarch Boris Berezovsky, President Yeltsin's security chief Alexander Korzhakov, and businessman Sergei Lisovsky, but none of the versions was confirmed.
