Viktor Chirikov was released from the police

Krasnodar activist Viktor Chirikov has been released from the police. Lawyer Alexander Popkov tweeted that they tried to get an explanation from Chirikov, but he refused to answer, citing an article of the Constitution. Popkov said that the police themselves do not know in what case Chirikov was supposed to give them an explanation.

wrote 51-YuOVD-InfoActivist Dmitry Gutov, who distributed leaflets together with Chirikov, said that Chirikov, according to the police, was allegedly wanted in accordance with the data of the Center for Combating Extremism. Why he was nevertheless released remains unclear, as does what Chirikov actually had to explain.
