Investigators from the Investigative Committee are talking to Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksiy Goncharenko, who was detained on the march in memory of Boris Nemtsov in Moscow and taken to the Kitai-Gorod police department. Earlier it was reported that he would be transferred to the Investigative Committee. According to TASS , Goncharenko is being interrogated in connection with the events in Odessa on May 2, 2014. In the wake of the death of people as a result of a fire in the House of Trade Unions, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on attempted murder and torture of a citizen of the Russian Federation.
Lawyers were not allowed to see Goncharenko. Only the consul of Ukraine was admitted.
