“The 37 -year -old resident of Obninsk turned to a medical institution for help only on the fourth day, as he fell ill. He was hospitalized, he died two days later,” said Ivanov. “During a laboratory study, he confirmed the diagnosis of Pig influenza.”
Doctors suggest that the disease began in a resident of Obninsk from a pork flu, who quickly flowed into pneumonia. As the head physician emphasized, two weeks have passed since the disease. New cases in Obninsk are not registered.
Nevertheless, this was the third revealed case of pork flu in Obninsk. In the first two cases, the sick people turned to medical assistance in time, were hospitalized and recovered.
