According to the lawyer of Chauhan, Navkin Singh, the leader of the religious movement "Dera-Sac-Sauda" (DSS) Hermit Singh convinced his fans that through castration lies their way to God.

Chauhan wrote a statement to the Central Bureau of Investigations back in 2012. Since then, investigators managed to find out that Hermit Singh can be involved in castration of 400 men. Corresponding medical operations with egg cutting have been carried out since 2000 in the DCS hospital, located in the native village of Singha - Gurusar -Modia (Rajasthan).

Hermit Singh himself denies all the accusations. “I benefit humanity, and such accusations disturb me,” he said in the January interview.

At first, the investigation moved slowly, since almost all the alleged victims refused to testify, fearing for their life or reputation. However, recently, detectives managed to persuade a number of victims to give evidence that will be recorded on the camera. Some of the victims were delivered to Delhi, where investigative actions are carried out, reports The India Today .

On Tuesday, a group of investigators also visited the ill-fated hospital in the Gurusar Modia to interview medical personnel.
