Alt-js are going to Moscow

On June 23, a concert of the British indie group Alt-J will be held at Crocus City Hall in Moscow.

According to the organizers, the Pop Farm concert agency, the performance at Crocus City Hall will be the only group of the group in Russia.

In 2013, Alt-J had already arrived in Moscow at Ahmad Tea Music Festival , Gazeta.ru notes.

The Alt-J group was formed in 2007 by four students of the University of Lids. Having finished their studies, they decided to devote themselves to music and moved to Cambridge. There they recorded several memorable singles and the debut album “Anwesome Wave” (2012), which won the Mercury Prize prize and brought the ALT-J three nominations on Brit Awards .

The second studio plate of the group, “This is All Yours” , was released in September 2014, debuted on the first line of the official British album chart and was nominated for Grammy in the “Best Alternative Album” category.
