Krivov: Transfer to the "not very good" colony

Sergey Krivov, convicted of the “swamp business”, is not left alone: ​​on March 2, he was completely unexpectedly transferred from a correctional colony No. 5 of the Bryansk region in the city of Starodub to the neighboring IK-6 (city of Klintsy). As his lawyer Irina Biryukova told the OVD-Info, Krivov was ordered to quickly collect things, transferred to Klintsy, after which they gave him 15 minutes to a phone call. He called his wife, after which his location already became known to the lawyer.

In the colony, he was placed in the so -called “safe place”. Previously, he was kept in a “safe place” and in IK-5, he asked himself about this himself, fearing threats and provocations. “Safe place” or BM is a camera located separately from the places where other prisoners are contained. After visiting Krivov in IK-5 in February, Biryukova told the OVD-Info that the BM there was located on the territory of the penalty area, and Krivova at first contained there in the same conditions as prisoners placed in a schizo: they took away all the products, forbade drinking tea and coffee, and did not give out a nightstand. True, the boss after that assured the lawyer that Krivov would return everything.

The official reasons for the current rapid transfer of Krivov to another colony are still unknown. According to Biryukova, prisoners can translate to other places of conclusion, for example, due to the overflow of the colonies. However, she knows that the IK-5 authorities previously threatened Krivov that if he continues to complain, he would be sent to another place. Krivov really filed a lot of complaints - that no correspondence does not go to him and from him, for the fact that he was not paid for the work that he did in the colony, for the fact that he was not transferred to lightweight conditions of detention, although he had the right to it. “And here we began to come all the time,” adds Biryukova, referring to himself and the public defender Krivov, the head of the Legal Foundation of Alexei Sokolov: Biryukova believes that active control from the defense was also a reason for a new round in the history of Krivov’s pressure in conclusion.

But the lawyer first of all draws attention to the fact that the transfer of Krivov to another colony will become an obstacle to considering the application for his parole. Biryukova filed a motion for UDO on February 18, and, according to her, there should be no grounds for refusal, judging by the personal case of Krivov. The consideration of the petition in the Starodubsky District Court was scheduled for March 5. Now, since the curves are no longer in IK-5, he himself will not be able to attend the meeting, and the court will not be able to receive his personal file from the colony. In this case, the court will have to refuse to consider the application. Biryukova said that she phoned the assistant judge who, before her call, did not know anything about the transfer of Krivov to another colony. The request for Udo was to be considered by the same judge who, on February 18, refused to satisfy Krivov’s complaint about the non-examination by the IK-5 authorities of his complaints. Biryukova intends to file a new petition for the parole of Krivov-already in another court, at the place of his current stay.

IK-6, according to Biryukova, the “not very good” colony. It is known that both the conditions and the authorities in it are worse than in IK-5, a year ago the local prisoners arranged a rebellion . An other prisoners of IK-5 were also threatened that they would be sent to IK-6, if they behave inaccessfully, the lawyer said.
