“In Perm, the Museum of Political Repression “Perm-36” is being destroyed. They plan to transform it into the Museum of the Correctional System. This is a fact of our life that is amazing in its cynicism and disgust. Probably, if a museum of SS achievements was opened in Auschwitz, it would be approximately equivalent to what is happening. I I think that people who are devoid of shame and conscience are doing this to the museum. I’m glad my grandfather didn’t live to see this.”
