Four deny, the fifth is silent

In the case of the murder of Nemtsov, five people were arrested. Report "Medusa"

On Sunday, March 8, the Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested before April 28 two accused of the murder of opposition Boris Nemtsov - Zaura Dadaev and Anzor Gubashev. Three more in the status of the suspects - Shagid Gubashev, Tamerlan Eskerkhanov and Khamzat Bakhaev - were arrested until May 7 and 8. Four defendants said they were not guilty of murder; Dadaev said nothing. According to some indirect signs, it can be assumed that it was Dadaeva who considered the investigation to those who shot in Nemtsov late in the evening of February 27 on the Big Moskvoretsky Bridge. Nothing is known about the role of the rest. The special correspondent of Medusa Andrei Kozenko monitored the arrest of suspects and accused.

The arrests took place in parallel. In one hall, a petition for the simultaneous arrest of Shagid Gubashev, Tamerlana Eskerkhanov and Khamzat Bakhaev was considered. In another, they first arrested Zaura Dadaev, and then Anzor Gubashev.

Dadaev’s half -bent Dadaev was led by special forces in black balaclavas, it was impossible to understand their departmental affiliation (only the flags of Russia on the sleeves). They placed the suspect in the cage. He behaved strangely even taking into account all the circumstances: he put his hands to his nose and teased the prosecutor, he smiled deeply, then he often began to nod. Dadaev admitted to several photojournalists who were allowed into the hall earlier than the rest that he loves the prophet Muhammad.

It is noteworthy that Igor Krasnov himself, a general, who heads the investigative group in the case of the murder of Boris Nemtsov, petitioned the arrest of Dadaev. Krasnov was short. He said that Dadaev was detained on March 7, and not in Moscow. On the morning of March 8, he was interrogated, after which Dadaev was charged under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (part 2, points “Z” and “Z”-a murder committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy from selfish motives or for hiring) and under Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (part 3-illegal acquisition and storage of weapons as part of an organized group). Krasnov said that the investigation will be carried out in different regions of Russia and will be associated with the search for a large number of material evidence. Dadaev, according to Krasnov, can hide, threaten witnesses, destroy material evidence and communicate with the defendants of the case, so he must be arrested before April 28. Formally, before this day, the investigation will continue on the murder of Nemtsov, but this date can be extended.

Dadaev, who had ceased to grimace, showed that he was born in 1982 in the Stavropol Territory, Holost, there are no children, now it is not working. It is registered in the Ingush city of Malgobek, it cannot name the exact address, "because there was a landslide." Earlier in the media there was information that Dadaev served in the Chechen battalion “North”, commanded by the brother of Adam Delimkhanov, a close ally of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov. In court, not a word was said about this.

- The requirement of the investigation is understandable? - asked Dadaeva Judge Natalya Mushnikova.

“I want the court to carefully examine my case and that everything is by law,” Dadaev answered.

“This is not now, it is later,” the judge interrupted. - The requirement for the arrest is understandable?

“I disagree with the preventive measure,” Dadaev answered her.

His lawyer asked any measure of restraint, not related to deprivation of liberty. He made the impression of a person who himself does not believe in what he says.

The judge took about half an hour to write a decision. It word in word repeated the petition of Igor Krasnov. There was only one detail in it, which the investigator did not talk about. Judge Mushnikova said that Dadaev could not be released, because he was not just questioned, but gave “confessions”.

The arrested was twisted and taken away. Throughout the entire time of Dadaev’s stay in the Basmanny court, it was he who turned out to be the greatest attention to both investigators and special forces. Indirectly, this may indicate that he is considered to be those who shot Boris Nemtsov, but there are no direct evidence yet.

At the same time, in another hall, the judge considered the request for the arrest of the suspects Shagid Gubashev (32 years), Eskerkhanov (35 years) and Bakhaev (45 years). All three, while they were removed by photographic correspondents and television operators, leaning low and covering their faces with jackets. It is known that one was detained late in the evening of March 7 in the suburbs, two others on the night of March 8 in Chechnya and Ingushetia. The investigator said that they deny their guilt, but it is confirmed by the results of operational-search activities. Shagid Gubashev said that he had Alibi - in the evening on the day of the murder he was in the club with witnesses. Eskerkhanov and Bakhaev also said that they were not to blame for anything. In addition, both have six children, and Eskerkhanov cannot be deprived of freedom, because he is sick - he has pyelonephritis and there is no one kidney.

As a result, Shagid Gubashev, Eskerkhanov and Bakhaev were arrested, but not up to the period of the formal end of the investigation - April 28, but two months from the date of their detention, that is, until May 7 and 8. The defense promised to appeal the arrest in the Moscow City Court.

The arrest of the older brother Shagid Gubashev - Anzor - went like a carbon copy from the arrest of Dadaev. Gubashev born in 1981, single, there are no children, secondary education, registered in Malgobek. He was brought in the same semi -bent state people in balaclavas. He sat in a cage, hanging his hat so that she almost closed his eyes. He whispered something silently. Fresh abrasions were visible on the knuckles of the fingers - they remain after the fight.

General Krasnov took his word and repeated the arguments that he cited for the arrest of Dadaev. Anzor Gubashev - to the question of the judge, whether the preventive measure is understandable to him - answered briefly: "I am not guilty." The judge also took about half an hour to make a decision on his arrest. The special forces that brought Gubashev from the hall again bent him and either by accident, or intentionally, painfully hit his head on the door handle. Anzor Gubashev, like Dadaev, was arrested until April 28.

Thus, no one pleaded to guilty of five suspects and accused. Four denied it, the fifth - Dadaev - does not say anything. It is known that the sixth suspect in the case died in Grozny during the detention - at first he fired, and then undermined himself with a grenade. The press secretary of the Basmanny Court promised that on March 9 there would be no new arrests in the case of the murder of Boris Nemtsov: in court-a day off.
