In 2014, world publications began to write much more often about the activity of the Russian armed forces on borders and even in the air or water space of other states. In Russia, this information was invariably refuted. Medusa studied which countries most often reported the activity of the Russian military and were forced to take extraordinary measures in this regard - for example, urgently lifting fighter into the air.
Infographics is based on a report of the European Leadership Network), which protrudes the world without nuclear weapons. She counted hundreds of different incidents between Russia and NATO countries; Infographics only the main ones are reflected (both those where Russia acted as a “violator”, and those in which NATO was accused).
Since the report was published in November, the Medusa was looking for information on the last months of 2014. The incident entering the infographic does not mean that the military really violated international agreements - it means that other countries reported this.
From infographics it follows that the most concern among Russian neighbors is the activity of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation over the Baltic. At the same time, spans of Russian aircraft were also recorded in very remote areas - for example, off the coast of Canada and the USA.
