Forest showdowns: the conflict between residents and developers could lead to the death of the child

Alexey Volkonitsky, representative of the builder

In the city of Troitsk in New Moscow, the conflict of local residents and developers who cut down the forest continues. Yesterday, residents blocked the work of lumberjacks, standing under the excavator and closing the trees from chainsaws. The developers still managed to cut several dozen trees: one of them, falling, almost hit a three -year -old child. As it turned out, the prominent figure of the “Young Guard of United Russia” Alexei Volkonitsky led loggers.

Yesterday, developers cut the road to a previously spinning area of 0.7 hectares located behind the house 1 on Oktyabrsky Prospekt in Troitsk.

The Department of Nature Management of the Moscow City Hall did not agree on this construction site, but lumberjacks have papers from the Trinity Administration and other departments - according to builders who give them the right to work - so they prefer to receive fines, but continue to work.

Logaries tuned to manage in an hour or two, yesterday were forced to push the townspeople until the evening: since many residents of Troitsk work in Old Moscow, only a dozen people came out against lumberjacks.

The police came to the scene of the conflict, who did not begin to stop the cutting down and detain the inhabitants, the inspectors of the Department of Nature Management of the City Hall, who once again declared that they would fined builders.

After the police left (at the very beginning of the conflict), it was called again, but more law enforcement officers did not come.

At this time, the inhabitants stood under the excavator, closed trees from chainsaws, cursed lumberjacks. Logaries were swept by the inhabitants, threatened them, and repelled. One of the falling trees almost hit a three-year-old child: his mother, who asked the OVD-info, has been anonymity so far, lives in a house, on the contrary of which the forest is directly destroyed, she took part in the protest against the cutting of trees.

“I saw a falling tree and how people standing nearby grab my son from under him. I would not have time to run myself. My feelings as a mother cannot be described, ”she says.

Trees were cut down at all without any fence. Near the place of cutting down is a playground, so that the actions of lumberjacks were socially dangerous even without a conflict with forest defenders. Consultations with lawyers are being held now, and the mother of the child does not exclude filing a claim due to the threat of life for the child.

The head of lumberjacks proved to be brightly proved. He did not introduce himself and at first he was just a “young man in a suit” for everyone.

At first he convinced the defenders of the forest that “it was not to blame for anything, just his company in a row for construction here”, that “he spent his money to recall the construction and cut down fewer trees than planned.” Soon he realized that these speeches could not stop the conflict. Then he took one of the activists aside and promised to "thank" if he "removes the rest from the ex-excavator from under the bucket." The plans of the “young man in a suit” were immediately publicized. Then he began to scream, breaking into a screech and inventing amazing obscene-linguistic constructions, he tried to provoke a fight.

The “young man in a suit” did not remain anonymous for long: by evening, information was found on the network about him. It turned out that his name was Alexei Volkonitsky, in the recent past - the head of the Krasnoyarsk branch of the “Young Guard of United Russia”. In 2011, Volkonitsky tried to get into the Duma list of United Russia. Further ups and downs of his careers to the defenders of the Trinity Forest are still unknown.
