Zaur Dadaev, accused of killing the opposition policy Boris Nemtsov, again announced the application of torture to him. According to him, after the arrest, he was kept in the basement for three days, shaking the handcuffs to the battery, and tortured by electric shock. This was reported by a member of the Public Supervisory Commission (PMC) of Moscow Elena Masyuk, who on the eve of her colleague visited Dadaeva and two more suspects - Anzor and Shagid Gubashevs - in the Lefortovo pre -trial detention center.

The human rights activist notes that Dadaev’s statements about torture "were not properly executed" by "employees of the investigative insulator. The accused, according to Masyuk, asks relatives to hire him a lawyer. He also accepted the proposal of the Interregional Public Organization “Committee against torture” to take advantage of their lawyers to start a criminal on the facts of the torture applied to it.

Masyuk reports that the investigator in the case of the murder of Nemtsov demanded from human rights activists a subscription to non -disclosure of the preliminary investigation and forbade the disclosure of the "third parties" heard in the pre -trial detention center. However, human rights activists refused to subscribe.

On Tuesday, March 10, a member of the Presidential Council of Human Rights Andrei Babushkin and Deputy Chairman of the PMC of Moscow, Eva Merkachev, visited Nemtsov. They stated that on the body of Dadaev and another suspect, Anzor Gubashev, "multiple bodily harm are visible." In the Investigative Committee of Grandmother and Merkachev, they suspected in interfering with the activities of the investigator in order to prevent an objective investigation of the case.
