The Ruptly agency removed a short plot about the Australian Wombat Patrick. It weighs about 36 kilograms (as its caretaker says, in the best years it was 40 kilograms) and, apparently, is the largest and oldest vombat living in captivity.
In the video, Patrick rides in a cart with the inscription "Sherlock", sits on his knees, takes stroking and simply enjoys life. Recently he turned 29 years old.
Patrick was tamed in infancy when he was orphaned, and, unfortunately, never mated. He lived almost all his life in captivity and is unable to protect himself from other vombates in the wild.
