On Sunday, March 22, in St. Petersburg at the Holide Inn Hotel (gaining fame after he was declared allegedly “mined” in December to disrupt the teleconference with Mikhail Khodorkovsky) “International Russian Conservative Forum”.
A de facto forum organizes the St. Petersburg department of the Rodina party, but the legal organizer is the “Russian National Cultural Center-People’s House”, calling this event “The first forum in the world history forum of national-oriented political forces in Europe and Russia”.
On their page on the Internet, the organizers quote Vladimir Putin’s performance at a meeting of the Valdai Club: “Our movement forward is impossible without spiritual, cultural, national self -determination, otherwise we will not be able to resist external and internal challenges, we will not be able to succeed in global competition.” And they urge everyone to “unite for the continuation of life on Earth, for the sake of conscientious and good -neighborly partnership between European nations in the struggle to preserve the traditional values of modern society: family, spirituality and morality.”
But the composition of the participants leaves no doubt that their event, the organizing committee of which is headed by the former deputy head of the election headquarters of the Rodina party in St. Petersburg, the former member of the Communist Party and the former co-chair of the St. Petersburg branch of the Public Organization of the Right to Weapon Yuri Lyubomirsky, much more the name “Neonacial Forum” would be approaching.
Judging by the alleged list of speakers, representatives of eleven European parties are going to take part in the forum - most of them have a reputation for the ultra -right, or even neo -Nazi ones. At the same time, they are distinguished by confident support for Vladimir Putin’s actions in the international arena.
Who will we see in St. Petersburg?
Roberto Fior (Italy) is the founder and leader of the Tsets Nuov party (New Power). The extreme right politician, a nationalist and a Catholic traditionalist, a representative of a conservative direction in neo -fascism (although he directly positions himself as a fascist). At one time, he was accused of involvement in terrorist activities.
His party strongly supported the capture of Crimea and approved the political course of Moscow in the Ukrainian Question.
In August 2014, “New Power”, along with such nationalist and anti -Semitic parties as the French “National Front” (its representatives will not come to the St. Petersburg Forum), the Hungarian “Yobbik”, the Belgian “Flemish interest”, the Polish “Falanga” and the British National Party, participated in the conference in the conference “Russia, Novorod, Novorossiya, Ukraine: Global difficulties and challenges ”, where the militants of Novorossiya were glorified and categorically denied the presence of the Russian military in Ukraine.
UdoGT (Germany) is a ultra-right politician, the former chairman of the National Democratic Party of Germany, and now the deputy of the European Parliament. Does not hide his anti -Semitic and Xenophobic views. Repeatedly subjected to administrative and criminal liability for incitement to rebellion and other violations of the law. It is known for the statements of the “overestimation” of the number of victims of the Holocaust (which, in his opinion, not 6 million, but 340 thousand people) and statements that his party “worships the courageous soldiers of the Wehrmacht: the ground forces, the Luftwaffe and the Navy and Waffen-SSU, which until the last day have fulfilled their debt” (for the last received ten months of imprisonment, but he received ten months of prison, but conditionally).
Deputies of the European Parliament and retired Greek military-Lieutenant General Elefterios Sinadinos , who previously commanded the Army divisions of special purposes, and the former director of the Military Staff of the European Union Georgios Epitios -represent the ultra-right Party "Chrysi Austi" ("Golden Dawn" at the forum). The party is defined by the press as neo -fascist and neo -Nazi, and not in vain: according to its charter, "only Aryans by blood and Greeks by origin can claim membership in the party." The emblem of the party is a slightly stylized swastika, and its members openly admire Hitler and use Nazi salute to greet.
Stefan Jacobsen from Sweden represents the “Party of Swedes”, also considered neo-Nazi and national socialist in his country. In 2008, it was founded by members of the dissolved National Socialist Front.
Daniel Karlsen (Denmark) leads the neo-Nazi “Danish party”, founded by former members of the National Socialist movement of Denmark, which, in turn, was the “subsidiary” of the Nazi NSDAP. The radio station was recognized as racist and banned in 2004.
Gonzalo Martin Garcia (Spain) heads the Department of International Relations of the Spanish National Democratic Party, which in its country has a similar reputation by ultra-right and nationalist.
Orazio Maria Gierre (Italy) , the president of the European Communist Party "Millennium", which aims to "conquer European sovereignty from NATO and liberate Europe from the US political and militaristic chains," opens against "hegemony of liberalism and a unipolar world."
Signor Gierre, a member of the Movement for Donbass Committee, warmly supporting the "fighters of Novorossia" and seeking "to convey their voice to the inhabitants of Europe." He assures that “NATO threatens Russia and has already invaded Europe” that “the European people are already in the power of the world dictatorship,” and “Novorossiya serves as an example for Europeans, who also do not intend to give up.”
Finally, the most colorful figure is Nick Griffin from the British National Party, whose ideology includes racism, anti -Semitism, denial of the Holocaust, the ban on immigration and homophobia.
Among the foreign participants are representatives of other nationalist parties: Jim Dawson from the British "League of Life", Luke Bertoni from the Italian "League Lombardy"; Yukka Davidson from the National Party of Finland; Coordinator of the Belgian organization "Euro-Rus" and a hot supporter of Novorossia Chris Roman ; Representatives of the Bulgarian Nationalist Party "Attack" and others.
As well as the "Minister of Foreign Affairs" "DPR" Alexander Kofman .
Russian forum participants are no less colorful.
This is the leader of the Rodina party and the State Duma deputy from United Russia Alexei Zhuravlev (author of bills on the deprivation of parental rights of non -traditional sexual orientation and the deprivation of children of migrants who cannot prove that they pay taxes, rights to free preschool and secondary education).
This is the nationalist Egor Kholmogorov , who believes that "the war for Novorossia is the national liberation war of the Russian people for its reunion and for erasing fictional borders."
This is the responsible secretary of the Russian Public Movement and the editor of the journal "Questions of Nationalism" Nadezhda Shalimov .
This is a senator from the Ryazan region, a graduate of the Red Banner Institute of the KGB of the USSR and a veteran of foreign intelligence services Igor Morozov .
This is the coordinator of the “Russian Imperial Movement” (inviting “Russian men for a joint struggle for Novorossia under the Imperial Flag”) Stanislav Vorobyov , stating that “Russian civilization, unlike the barbaric Western European, is a direct successor to ancient Rome”.
And other similar characters.
The purpose of the forum is not hidden - to find for the Russian regime of "allies in Europe", which will "defend traditional values, promote the interests of Russia and seek the abolition of sanctions."
Here are only “allies” by these - as in cases with “international observers” who either described the “referendum” in Crimea as an example of democracy, they regarded the “democratic” elections of the governor of St. Petersburg, to which the real opponents of George Poltavchenko were not allowed, they praised the honesty of “elections” in “DPR” and “LNR”, representatives of the same are the same political forces.
All the same mixture of neo -Nazis, nationalists and anti -Semites.
The Kremlin (not tired of looking for “fascists” in Ukraine, who supposedly heroically opposed the peaceful tractor drivers and miners of Donbass) to rely on Europe in Europe.
PS St. Petersburg anti -fascists said they would seek the abolition of the forum and called on the townspeople to express their protest to the hotel management where it should go. In their opinion, all parties that will take part in the forum “unites what they judge people not by actions, but by nationality, skin color, religious, cultural, gender and want to put this approach the basis of state policy.” Against the forum was a deputy of the Legislative Assembly Irina Komolova, who applied to the governor Georgy Poltavchenko. There is no answer yet.
Meanwhile, the solemn celebration of the 70th anniversary of Victory is ahead. You can’t say anything, the right time to get brown in the hero city.
