
The Kaspersky Lab refuted the information about the relationship of their employees with the FSB and the use of the customer database. An article with such statements, published on the eve of Bloomberg, according to representatives of the company, “is based on fictional facts and is misleading,” the rain television channel reports.
“Such statements are not justified,” the press service noted.
The Bloomberg material claimed that the former and current employees of Kaspersky Laboratory are cooperating with Russian intelligence services. According to the agency, they helped the department to disclose criminal cases using the database in which the data on 400 million customers of the company was.
According to Bloomberg, the key person to interact with the Russian government is the deputy director of the legal issue of Igor Chekunov. Since 2013, he has been led by a group of ten people who provide information from the FSB and other Russian government agencies.
